Have you ever wondered why space looks black, even though there are so many stars out there? This is a really neat question! Even with billions of stars shining, space seems dark. It's kind of like when you turn on a flashlight in a big room full of sunlight; the flashlight's beam doesn't change the brightness of the whole room.
